Switching places

So, had a photo shoot the other day for Japanese Glamour magazine, 'Glamourous'.  Let's just say I'm glad that this is not what I do for a living.. Like the hubbs does.  I feel so awkward behind the camera to say the least.  At least the girls were so nice and really fun. Thanks to my sis, assland. I could not have done it without her help.. or her head piece.  Love ya, sis.

Grams

The girls and I went to visit grams yesterday.  There is something so comforting about her home.  The smell of fresh laundry and stuffed green bell peppers.. she has them waiting for me, pipping hot on the kitchen table as soon as I walk in. No matter how much time passes, her home and her always have stayed the same...  I love that.  She sends you home every time with a bag full of groceries/food she's cooked, 100 photos from the last time you saw her and always seems to slip you a couple dollars, she calls 'chump change'.. marked with your name on it and in a ziplock.

These days are flying by... I can't even wrap my mind around it.  How fast the world moves.  How fast people come and go.  The older I get, the more I realize how short life really is.  Another day has passed me.  Sometimes I wish that I could freeze time...
